Sermon for October 6th, 2024

Romans 11:33-36

33 O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! 34For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? Or who has given a gift to him, to receive a gift in return? 36For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.

Luke 1:46-50

46 And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, 47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48 for he has looked with favor on the lowly state of his servant. Surely from now on all generations will call me blessed, 49 for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name; 50 indeed, his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.”
